DKP to Holland : Release unconditionally comrade Georges Abdallah

The press festival UZ (Unsere Zeit), journal of DKP (German Communist Party) took place in Dortmund from 27 to 29 of june, 2014. For this occasion, with the initiative of the representant of the Lebanese Communist Party, the 23 present delegations has signed a letter to the address of the president of the French Republic to free Georges Ibrahim Adballah, a Lebanese communist , imprisoned in France since1984.


 

 

Mister the Président,


Georges Abdallah, imprisoned in France since 1984, should be free in jan, 2013. His freedom was blocked by a political decision.


The United States of America is directly involved in this matter with the French government to prevent this release. Members of the U.S. Congress have even written to the French authorities asking that George Abdallah remains in prison for life. 


We are internationalists from different countries of the world. We declare that Georges Ibrahim Abdallah, a Lebanese Communist fighter for the just Palestinian cause, must be released NOW without any conditions.
